About Aafreen Kaur

In my journey as a leader, I’ve come to understand that learning and growth are constant, and leadership transcends all boundaries. My mentors have always encouraged me to look beyond classroom education and unleash the potential within me. This continuous exploration shapes who I am and the leader I strive to become. I currently serve as the Head Coach for the Communication Intelligence program, where I lead weekly live discussion forums with corporate professionals. In this role, I guide participants to apply learned strategies in corporate settings, fostering immediate and tangible skill development through Outcome Driven Communication principles. Additionally, I am a Graduate Assistant at the Office of Leadership & Service at Georgia State University, where I am responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive branding plan through digital media and event marketing. I also address audiences at events and conferences to promote the Office’s Annual Leadership Programs and lead student training programs, equipping them with the essential skills for transitioning from college to career. I hold a B.Sc. in Psychology, where I graduated with Summa-Cum-Laude Latin Honors from Georgia State University, and I am currently pursuing a Dual Masters in Business Administration and Health Administration. I’ve had the honor of being nominated as a TEDx Speaker in April 2023, where I spoke about the work I do in Communication Intelligence. In addition, I am the Program Manager for the TEDxGeorgiaStateU 2025 event, where I am responsible for selecting and training speakers, as well as overseeing the smooth functioning of committees and the event as a whole. Throughout my career, I have consistently sought opportunities to develop both personally and professionally. From accumulating over 1,080 hours of community service to serving in leadership roles in multiple organizations, I have gained a wealth of experience in communications, public relations, and leadership development. My leadership philosophy is grounded in the belief that true leaders are lifelong learners—adaptable, empathetic, and driven by a desire to help others grow. Leadership, for me, is about fostering environments where people can unleash their potential, guided by purpose and a commitment to continuous improvement.
