About Aalan Mohammad

I am a computer science graduate with experience using databases and different statistical topics like regression, prediction models and neural networks, along with solving complex problems throughout my time at school. I also worked at Air Canada as business insights analyst for a year extracting data and visualizing it using Excel and PowerBI a data visualization application used. Performed ad hoc requests from different departments using SQL. Data ranging from flight, passenger and baggage data. I also helped the I.T. validate ETL data from iAuditor app to the Teradata database and creating applications on PowerApps used by Air Canada managers. During my free time during the pandemic, I created a fantasy football rankings script on Python that extracted rankings from football websites and analyzed the best players to draft. The results were then played in Excel and that led to me finishing 1st in my fantasy league! I also taught myself some Python libraries and how to use them in data analysis. Using TensorFlow to create a neural network to classify male and female faces. I then used Pandas and Matplotlib to formulate a linear regression model for European Soccer team success and team invesment with players. Results can be seen on my GitHub below.
