As General Counsel and Head of Legal, Data Privacy, AI Governance and Ethics at ModiFace, L’Oréal’s tech company, I oversee the legal affairs for this innovative leader in augmented reality and artificial intelligence. With over a decade and a half worth of legal experience, I have a proven track record of providing reliable and strategic legal solutions, most recently on topics including data privacy and AI governance as it relates to algorithmic bias and ethics in AI. I am passionate about aligning with the business objectives and values of ModiFace and L’Oréal, and collaborating with global clients and teams on cutting-edge projects and services within the beauty tech industry. I am adept at managing risk, ensuring compliance, negotiating contracts, drafting policies, and managing litigation. I am also an effective leader and communicator whose mission is to enable and empower the vision and growth of ModiFace, in turn achieving L’Oréal’s vision of “creating the beauty that moves the world”, while upholding the highest legal and ethical standards. I'm an avid panelist, speaker and guest lecturer at AI law courses on all things AI including governance, ethics, algorithmic bias, and risk mitigation.
