With over 18 years of experience in the building and association management industries, I am a highly motivated and self-directed leader with a history of management success. My Experience includes strategic planning, managing a diverse set of programs, relationship building, and a lifelong commitment to sustainability and community engagement. KEY STRENGTHS • Leadership: Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, inspire a shared vision, mentor and manage teams • Experience: Track record of success in achieving consistent results and ambitious outcomes • Organization: Ability to manage multiple complex departments and initiatives simultaneously and see them through to completion I hold an M.S. in environmental policy from the University of Montana where I specialized in environmental advocacy strategies focusing on green building, and a B.A. from the University of Colorado. In 2013 I was the recipient of the King County Green Globe Award for Leadership in Sustainable Development. In 2009 I was named one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 under 40, and was a member of the Leadership Tomorrow class of the same year. I currently serve on the board for Housing Hope, an Everett based non-profit focused on transitional housing and job training for individuals trying to break the cycle of homelessness. Reaching farther back, I served on the City of Seattle’s Green Building Task Force from 2008-2010 for then Mayor Greg Nickels and on a technical working group to then Governor Christine Gregoire’s Climate Action Team in 2007-2008.
