About Aaron Bickman

As a senior lawyer in the Wills & Estates Group of McLeod Law, I work with clients at nearly every stage of their life cycle to help them plan for their future. From the most basic to the most complex estate plan, I take a practical approach and provide timely advice. Client estate plans will involve some combination of business succession planning, inter vivos trusts, and planning for incapacity, depending on their circumstances. Further, I represent clients in matters involving capacity, guardianship, trusteeship, Powers of Attorney and Personal Directives. I often provide advice to executors, administrators, attorneys and trustees on how to effectively and efficiently administer estates. My background in business and real estate law gives me a solid understanding of the unique challenges and needs of the private business owner when working to uncover their goals and develop their business succession plan. I am very involved in my communities, from the legal community, Jewish community and my local business community. A husband, father and renowned “trout whisperer”, I frequent the banks of Alberta's rivers and streams.
