Aaron Birk is a GIS professional working in the oil and gas industry. First, introduced to GIS in 1997, he trained in the US ARMY on a command line driven version of ArcView. In 2004, he had his first start in the oil and gas and damage prevention industry while working for Oklahoma One–Call Systems Inc.(OKIE811). Then in 2008, he accepted a job as a GIS Analyst for SandRidge Energy where his experience with OKIE811 led to many managerial duties in damage prevention.
