About Aaron Boswell

I tend to think of myself as a product manager, only my product is Magento e-commerce websites and not a software app. My job is to understand what needs to be done, then work with my team to get a good product out the door. With developers in different states and countries, I use Basecamp, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Harvest, Slack, and Google Docs to stay in touch. My challenge is to stay in touch with the developers (and our clients) to ensure that our deliverables are getting done. I am in charge of all of APISOURCE's web projects. With my background in both print and web design, I can visualize obstacles that some managers can’t, just because they have no front-end experience. We are focused on developing responsive Magento stores. Responsive design, by it’s very nature, requires not only knowledge of backend code but also visual layout changes as browsers resize from desktop to mobile platforms. It’s my role to foresee issues and make visual changes so that the product delivered is the right one for the client. Specialties: Graphic Design (Print & Web), User Interface design, Magento, Adobe Creative Suite (all versions), Coda, Quark XPress, Microsoft Office, Plesk, Apache/MySql/PHP, Git, and Wordpress.
