About Aaron Bouplon

Aaron Bouplon, aka “Boups”, grew up in Northern Wisconsin as a competitive hockey player and elite long distance runner, switching to cycling later, melding endurance and mental strength of running with toughness and mental acuity of hockey. This combination helped him win the 2012 35+ Colorado State Time Trial. A 1995 Dartmouth College graduate, Aaron gathered Academic All-Ivy and 1995 New England Collegiate Championship honors. For 17 years Aaron was involved with the Boulder Running Company chain of stores, as a co-owner, advertising manager, and IT Manager until the stores sold in 2013. Next he decided to give back as the Executive Director for the non-profit Bicycle Racing Association of Colorado. As Executive Director, Aaron worked to uphold the mission statement of BRAC, promoting amateur bike racing in Colorado While building a consulting business, BoulderSRC (Boulder Sports Retail Consultants), Aaron was hired to guide, troubleshoot a major ERP migration and upgrade from Spyder Active Sports, which was a success. Aaron was offered a position with the aforementioned company and, because of a love of the people and culture, accepted the position. Several years later, the parent company disbanded and Aaron was laid off. Other accomplishments; Bike Race Director, Coach for junior cycling, high school hockey, and Team-In-Training marathoners.
