About Aaron Brown

I had the privilege of growing up in Charleston, SC where I was engaged in a variety of activities: basketball, fishing, camping/backpacking, and service projects. With these various community service projects. I grew to understand the needs of the under-represented population in the area, and the value of serving the community.* Playing basketball with inner-city youth on a concrete court on Stuart St. widened my understanding for individuals to respond to those in need with love, as a reflex, and not a job.* Playing football in the grass at Erskine College with John De La Howe juvenile children widened my perspective on how expectations from others can influence the way we act.* Providing athletic training services for Bainbridge high school, sparked the flame that healthcare can be an amazing platform for ministry and service.* Volunteering physical therapy services for uninsured individuals at the CARES Clinic helped to ignite a passion to integrate healthcare into my service. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, it is my passion to combine the lessons I have learned from my past and deliver genuine, holistic care to all of my patients. Healthcare is loving from a pure heart, a good conscious, and sincere faith, not as a job, but as a reflex. This should be instilled so deeply into our being as healthcare professionals that we do not even know that we are doing it. It should be instinctual. My life and career goal is to care for all people in this way, providing the best healthcare I can, and continuing to grow in my knowledge and understanding of the human body. A couple fun facts about me: played college basketball at Erskine College, I have a 41 in vertical jump, and I once trained a year and a half for American Ninja Warrior (they never got back to me after finalizing my application).
