I’m a Security Engineer with a strong foundation in IT operations and a passion for building and protecting resilient systems. My journey began in the trades and retail environments, where I developed a sharp eye for detail, problem-solving, and customer service—skills that now support my success in cybersecurity. With a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (emphasis in Cybersecurity) from Grand Canyon University and multiple Microsoft certifications—including Endpoint Administrator Associate and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals—I bring a hybrid of hands-on experience and formal education to the table. I’ve managed enterprise systems, deployed multi-factor authentication, secured cloud environments with Microsoft Defender, and supported infrastructure in both on-prem and hybrid models. Currently, I’m enhancing my expertise by pursuing the SSCP certification through (ISC)², deepening my knowledge of access control, incident response, and cryptography. Open to new opportunities in cybersecurity and systems engineering, I’m ready to contribute to organizations that value security-first thinking, collaboration, and continuous learning.
