About Aaron Celli

I grew up in central Maine and from an early age, always knew that I was going to serve in the military. I joined the Maine Army National Guard as a junior in high school at the age of 17 and haven't looked back since. Since 2016, I've worked full time as an Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) Soldier in more progressive human resources roles. After a period of time in human resources, I decided to pursue and obtain my Master's degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from Pennsylvania State University. Nobody grows up (to my knowledge) with a strong desire to work in the Human Resources field. Like many human resources professionals, I fell into the position and then I fell in love with the profession. I thoroughly enjoy helping people with their everyday issues so that they can focus on the mission of the company. At the end of the day, the ground level or front facing employee is the strength of the company and they need to be focused on their role, not about their benefits or pay. Combining my love of life long learning with my love of sports, I'm currently entering my final semester of a Master's in Sports Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Both of my Master's degree programs have, along with my military service, highlighted the need for strong leadership in any organization, less it be doomed to fail.
