About Aaron Chambers

As a performance-driven and highly-skilled Operations and Logistics Supervisor, I have an extensive background managing supply chain functions and inventory, procuring materials and services, and improving operational efficiency in global and domestic environments. From 2001-2018, I served my country with distinction in the United States Marine Corps as a Work Center Supervisor in charge of the correct ordering, receipt, and distribution of repairable and consumable parts. In that capacity I protected over $38 million of assets across the globe for the US military, and have developed and trained a variety of high-level, cross-functioning teams to achieve financial and strategic objectives through statistical data analysis, logistics and inventory management, process improvements, and Six Sigma/lean manufacturing principles. A natural leader, I am self-motivated, analytical, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator that specializes in building, motivating and developing high-performance teams and working in cross-functional, collaborative environments. Some of my accomplishments include: Saving the United States military $1.5 million on non-required assets and improving maintenance effectiveness in work centers by 30 percent through the utilization of Six Sigma process improvements. Supporting Marine Corps work centers and mission exercises through the successful and on-time ordering of more than $38 million in aircraft in consumables, and more than in tools/gear while achieving 100 percent accountability in the process. Personally supervising over 1,500 man-hours with no on-the-job injuries or mishaps, and enforcing strict adherence throughout the organization on following essential maintenance publications, advisories, and internal procedures to manage risk and create a culture of safety.
