About Aaron Cleary

I am a highly motivated events professional with a proven track record of safely managing a range of departments at some of Ireland’s and the UK’s largest and most high-profile music and arts festivals. At heart, I am a huge music fan. I love listening to live music, and I understand the importance of detail to the live event experience, and that has been a driving force throughout my career. I have had the privilege of managing a diverse range of events since 2001 and have experience working with and a solid understanding of most departments. Over the past six years, I have been building and leading a team of our top freelancers under the ‘No DIsco’ umbrella to fulfil a growing number of repeating yearly contracts. Event and crew safety and welfare are two things that are very important to me and I have been actively trying to improve both across our industry. I want to work with people who are safety and welfare-focused and who will work hard together to get the job done as a team for the good of the show. When not working on a festival site or at a gig you are likely to find me cooking for friends and family, on a city break fine-dining, or eating great street food.
