About Aaron Dash

I began my journey in the food industry as a teenager working in a local pizzeria. This is where I gained my footing in the kitchen, and really learned to love the rush of a Friday and Saturday night in the restaurant world. While working there I learned the real importance of open and clear communication with customers and coworkers alike. I moved on after a few years to the world of full service restaurants when I began serving at Famous Dave's BBQ in 2015. The level of customer service that I was able to provide in this new role was especially exciting to me, and I knew once I had been there for a month that I was meant for the restaurant world. I worked hard, became a bartender (my one true love), and in May of 2016 I recieved a promotion into management. I have worked my way through the ranks of being a manager with no title, a front of house manager, and now for the last two years I have been a kitchen manager. This journey through management has allowed me to impact the guest experience in a whole new way, by first impacting the employee experience. I truly believe that if our employees are happy and look forward to coming to work, they will make sure our guests keep coming back as well.
