About Aaron Delgado

I am a Chemical Engineer with experience working as a Crude Oil Scheduler at ENAP (National Petroleum Company) in Chile. In this role, I am responsible for leading the crude oil blending, discharges/charges, logistics, and scheduling of different pipelines for various products including Crude Oil, Gas Oil, and FCC LCO. My main objective as a scheduler is to effectively manage and schedule crude oil inventories and refinable mixes, collaborating closely with the Optimization team. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Process Engineer at SQM, where I focused on the development and improvement of lithium productive processes through applied research. I always maintained a global perspective on the Company's long-term interests in the development of new processes. Additionally, I have been involved in projects from opportunity identification to implementation of Continuous Improvement methodologies, including the development of KPIs and process analysis based on lean methodology. Overall, my experience in the field of chemical engineering has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in roles that require attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on process improvement.
