About Aaron Doud

I hold a Master’s degree in Medical Physics with a strong foundation in radiation oncology and currently work as a Clinical Applications Physicist for a leading radiation therapy software company. I am the primary support contact for several large clinical networks along the U.S. West Coast, providing expert guidance on complex workflows and technical escalations in medical physics, imaging, and radiotherapy. My work bridges clinical teams and technical development, delivering solutions that are both effective and patient-focused while ensuring software reliability and patient safety. My background includes academic and clinical training in medical physics, with hands-on experience in radiation therapy, quality assurance, and machine calibrations across academic and community hospital settings in the U.S, Canada, and Central and Latin America. I have also taught college-level physics at both university and community college levels, sharpening my ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Over the past few years, I’ve completed multiple projects, but a few that stand out for me are- Developed technical training materials and internal process guides adopted company-wide, reducing onboarding time and improving knowledge retention across teams- Resolved critical, high-impact technical issues for enterprise-level clinical sites, preserving service continuity and earning recognition from senior leadership and key customer stakeholders- Played a key role in launching the company’s first fully remote customer training program, eliminating the need for onsite trainer travel and minimizing clinical schedule disruptions- Led QA testing and validation efforts for multiple software release versions, identifying and reporting defects early to enhance product stability and performance- Recovered and retained high-value customer accounts by delivering rapid, solutions-focused support that rebuilt trust and strengthened long-term partnerships.
