About Aaron Ewers

Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My career and life has been shaped by curiosity, adaptability and a strong commitment to both people and performance, whether in healthcare, technology or on the football pitch. I began my post university professional journey in 2013 with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, working as a Health Records Assistant in the Cancer Services Department at the Royal Gwent Hospital. After a two year learning routine and understanding the role, in 2015, I transitioned into a permanent role in Accident & Emergency at the Royal Gwent Hospital, where I gained invaluable experience in high pressure, people first environments. In 2017, I took a leap into the tech sector as an EPoS Support Technician at pointOne EPoS, where I grew my technical acumen and developed a real appreciation for user focused solutions, applications and a know how in understanding related technologies. That experience led me to Hansen Technologies in 2021 as a Product Support Analyst, deepening my skills in product ecosystems and client support of applications and systems. Since June 2024, I’ve been working as an Analyst at Zellis, supporting their payroll systems with a keen eye for accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency whilst further undertaking more learning of newer technologies. Outside of work, I channel my love for problem solving into web and application development, a hobby that keeps me creatively and technically engaged. I’m also a dedicated cappuccino drinker and an unapologetic fan of sci-fi novels and series. Alongside my tech career, I also serve as a Vice Chairman & First Team Coach for Glascoed FC since May 2024, where I lead with passion, strategy, and a belief in the power of teamwork.
