About Aaron Forbes

From a very early age I knew I really liked 2 things; real estate and numbers. In 2007 I joined MCAP as an analyst in the Development Finance Group and began turning that passion into real world knowledge. Since this time I have originated, structured, underwritten, and helped fund over $5 billion of real estate transactions throughout western Canada focusing primarily on apartment condominium, townhouse, land development, and commercial construction projects. As a mortgage banker, I have been fortunate to work with many institutional and private lenders across the risk appetite spectrum, arranging and managing 1st and 2nd mortgage positions and equity participations. The ability to provide financing solutions across the capital stack has led to long lasting and significant investor and client relationships alike.
