About Aaron Forkel

I believe that the best things in life are crafted to the highest standards of quality. Presently, I'm working as a Software Support Engineer. Throughout my career and education, I've gained first-hand experience with Jira, MSSQL, API platforms like Postman and Boomi, and coding languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript. I'm most familiar with manual testing, however have worked with Postman runners and curl for automated API testing. My passion for software stems from my desire to comprehend how things work, particularly the interplay between digital constructs and human beings. I'm inspired by quantifiable achievements, and am intrigued by tasks that require critical thinking or have complexity. I aspire to bring passion and emphasis to my work and strive to find value and meaning in everything I do. I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's in Computer and Electrical engineering at the University of Utah. I have established excellent relationships with my local supervisors and leaders throughout my career, and I was promoted within the first year at every organization with which I worked. My career path has led me to collaborate with leading transportation companies and some of the largest food manufacturing and distribution companies in the United States. Ultimately, my goal is to become the most valuable asset I can be to an Agile team.
