Hello, I’m Aaron Gorman, a passionate content creator from Swords, County Dublin, now based in the vibrant city of Oulu, Finland. Since moving to Finland in 2019, I’ve dedicated my work to exploring and sharing the rich cultural intersections between Ireland and Finland through my social media platform, Irish in Finland.My content focuses on Irish and Finnish culture, history, and folklore, but I also touch on various other subjects that connect the two nations. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of being featured multiple times on Finland’s national broadcasting station, YLE, and interviewed by Kaleva, Oulu’s largest newspaper.I’ve also created my own live storytelling event in Oulu, offering a platform to explore global folklore and mythology, further fostering a sense of community and shared culture.Across my social media channels, I’ve built a strong and engaged audience with over followers on Instagram, on YouTube, and more than on TikTok.
