About Aaron Guardado

SMCO is a brand out of Long Beach, CA that is owned and operated by Aaron and older brother Shaun Guardado. The brand rooted in performance vehicles as kids growing up road racing karts, cars, and motorcycles, which is what planted the roots for us brothers. We are constantly building, racing, modifying, and sometimes even crashing the projects – demolition derby. One of the main focuses in our builds is to always remain performance driven, function over fashion. From cars in Demolition Derby’s; Cross Country Road Rally’s; to Harley-Davidson’s for high performance street, flat track, land speed racing, as brothers we aren’t only competing against other adrenaline junkies but also each other in a never-ending sibling rivalry. The SMCO apparel side of the business started as an idea for us to wear exactly what we want to. Shirts, hats, and jackets that are straight-forward and simple, representing our image. For the last 10 years, the apparel has grown from just a couple tee shirts to a full range catalog of apparel, including hats, jackets, and hard goods. We have a strong following amongst car and motorcycle enthusiasts, not only in the US but also internationally. The demand for SMCO has grown from just being sold direct from our website to retailers and distributors across the States and into international markets. We have taken on corporate projects for Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna Motorcycles, Indian Motorcycles, and Rockstar Energy Drink. Projects requiring fully custom fabricated vehicles for specific disciplines whether it be for competition series with Harley-Davidson, X Games, or media / advertisement. SMCO has been on call for special use vehicles and operation. Growing up in motorsports, skills for operation of both cars and motorcycles on and off-road, has granted us consulting jobs and stunt driving. In addition to automotive and motorcycle fabrication, SMCO has been commissioned for bespoke designs used in custom homes and restaurants throughout the Los Angeles Area, and trade show spaces across North America.
