About Aaron Hancock

Mr. Hancock is a Senior Vice President with a range of responsibilities including investment activities, capital raising and investor relations, and strategic initiatives at Artemis. He serves as Co-Portfolio Manager for various emerging manager separate accounts. Mr. Hancock also serves as the Director of Real Estate Programs at Wall Street Prep where he created and leads the company’s real estate training efforts. He manages a team that delivers financial modeling training at top global firms including Blackstone, KKR, Ares, Bain, Carlyle, CDPQ, and ADIA. He is also Co-Program Director for Wall Street Prep’s partnership with Wharton Online where he leads the Real Estate Investing & Analysis Certificate Program alongside faculty at The Wharton School. Mr. Hancock's prior work experience includes JBG Smith and a HNW family office. At JBG Smith, Mr. Hancock was responsible for executing digital infrastructure investments as part of the firm’s Smart Cities team. At the family office, Mr. Hancock led efforts to create a large-scale public-private partnership to conserve public lands and implement a 50+ year master development plan in the Pacific Northwest. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking group, where he advised real estate companies on M&A and capital raising transactions. Mr. Hancock earned a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a MBA from Harvard Business School as a Dean’s Award Recipient for service to the school and society. He is also a recipient of the Alumni Trailblazer Award for Early Distinction. Additionally, Mr. Hancock serves on various nonprofit boards including Sponsors for Educational Opportunities’ National Leadership Council, the Release Recovery Foundation, and the Lanihun Anderson Foundation. He is an avid supporter of organizations that champion inclusion and education in the alternative investments industry such as the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Foundation, Sponsors for Educational Opportunities (SEO), and the Toigo Foundation.
