About Aaron Harpaz

WHO AM I? As a recent graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor Degree of Kinesiology & a Bachelor Degree of Education, my involvement with recreation and teaching have been at the forefront. I have decided to pivot my career from the classroom to the group benefits industry as a way to reach and educate a larger group of individuals. In the group benefits industry, I will be able to continue educating in a health and wellness environment, I will have the ability to work with and advise the working population, and can inspire employers to better support their people. HIGHLIGHTS I believe that my past experience as a teacher, instructor, and customer service representative combined with my qualities of organization, time management, and social skills would be an asset to the group benefits industry. Coming out of a fast-paced dual degree teaching environment, I have learned to build up my stamina in dealing with rapid changes and challenges daily. While I have mixed opinions moving away from the mostly structured nature of teaching high school students, I bring with me a level of motivation, determination, and passion to figure out all challenges that are thrown at me. PIVOT The group benefits industry has countless similarities with the science of the human body and how we can best educate others. Some of which include health, well-being, and technology. With that being said, I have always stayed up-to-date on the current trends and shifts of the health & wellness industry. I am eager to start challenging the current paradigm when it comes to the world of group benefits. LIFELONG GOAL My lifelong goal is to fill everyday with excitement so that when I am 70, 80, and/or 90 years young, I will have thousands of memories to share with others. ⏳ I follow by the saying "Time is precious, so don't waste it." 🤝 I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about how we can work together!
