About Aaron Holmes

I support and enhance e-Facilities, the Integrated Workplace Management System for Capital Management at Alberta Health Services. In particular I develop integrations (in Python3), update dataviews in SQL and work with our client groups to enhance their use of Oracle Primavera Unifier. In Architecture, I learned the value of the design process and the follow-through that makes it a reality. In Community Newspapers I learned how to communicate effectively. I still write a weekly newspaper column. Where i add the most value is in simplifying and automating tedious, complex workflows. Time is expensive and non-renewable. This lets people focus on the part of the process where their judgment and critical thinking are most useful while accelerating and reducing errors where their input isn't required or useful.
