About Aaron Hosterman

My career began with the United States Army Reserve as a railway advisor, where I learned how to work with people from different nations and walks of life. Through those experiences I was able to hire on to a small short line, The Massachusetts Central Railroad. I spent the next 5 years working as a Track Worker, Conductor, Engineer, and finally a Mechanics Apprentice. While working here I spent one year activated by the Military to travel our country and service Military installations as a Train crew. This activation as well as the 5 years spent with very knowledgeable coworkers taught me a tremendous amount and helped me achieve the next step in my career. Aberdeen Carolina and Western Railway became my next step as I was hired on to be a full time Diesel Mechanic. Through the shop I again was able to learn from very knowledgeable and experienced coworkers. I believe I have been very privileged to have learned from so many skilled workers which has helped me move into my recent position as Division Operations Manager. The last 6 years has taught me to always grow and continue to pursue a greater purpose through out my career.
