About Aaron Johnson

Aaron is a multi line sales rep serving the Hospitality and Design Industry. Working with his best friend of over 30 years, Aaron Johnson and Kirk Fisher make up the Innovative Resource Group, one of the most respected rep groups in the industry. Representing some of the best providers of custom manufactured FF & E, IRG strives to build relationships with our clients based on trust and superb communication. Our territories include California, Nevada, Hawaii, and the Pacific Northwest. Representing Bryan Ashley, Outer, Sapphire Chandelier, Studio EL, Remington Lighting, and Amtrend. Aaron is an accomplished music producer, mixer, songwriter with excellent project management, relationship skills, sales, and high pressure major label experience. On the way to becoming a Multi-Platinum producer Aaron began hanging out at a studio in Southern California at the age of 17. Intrigued by the way recording melded the technical and artistic mediums into one, it was the first time he encountered a relationship that eventually became a way of life. The free form of expression through art tangled with the tangible technicalities of creation. Johnson attended the California Institute of the Arts as an undergrad majoring in Music Technology. In he moved to Denver, CO and began freelancing as a producer and playing in bands. Wanting to enrich relationships with major/indie labels, as well as create meaningful music business inroads, he moved to New York City in 2001. Aaron developed Epic records artist "The Fray" starting in 2003. He produced "The Fray's" first album for Sony/Epic (How To Save A Life). He also co-wrote the fan favorite song "All At Once". Singles "Over My Head" and "How To Save A Life" both went Multi-Platinum and were nominated for Grammys. The album "How To Save A Life" has sold over 3 million copies worldwide. Again as Producer, Aaron worked on "The Fray" in 2009. The second album yielded the Top 40 hit "You Found Me", opened at #1 on The Billboard Top 200, and garnered two more Grammy nominations. Aaron has had a production/mixing hand in successful indie artist Katie Herzig, Steve Grand, Top 40 hit bands Secondhand Serenade and Eve 6, as well as Chase Coy and Colbie Caillat, Alpha Rev, and the soundtrack for Rian Johnson's "Brick", nepotism at its best. In 2017 Aaron joined forces with best friend Kirk Fisher in Innovative Resource Group, the partnership has led to IRG becoming an industry sales leader in the Hospitality and Design market.
