Hi Everyone!My name is Aaron, I am a Data Analyst from Salt Lake City.In my free time I enjoy golfing, hiking, attending concerts, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my dog. I also spend time volunteering with the Community Animal Welfare Society in Utah.In my previous role as a senior territory manager my job was to build strong relationships with our clients and ensure that they have success selling our products and meeting the needs of their customers. There are many ways to approach the work, but I prefer a data driven method. I use data on a daily basis to provide my clients with insights they can’t get on their own so that they can make informed purchasing decisions based on their unique needs. I analyze their buying history to find the best promotional offers and opportunities for them. I also keep them informed on industry trends and legislation that could impact them. I also expanded my scope and create reports, models, selling tools and dashboards for local teams to drive success within the region. What is awesome about this role is that I get to be a consumer of data to help me make decisions and also get to analyze data for others to help them make decisions.In terms of education I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Business Analytics. I also have an undergraduate degree in Marketing and have also done Google’s Data Analyst certification as well as certifications in SQL and Excel. However these are just my on paper credentials. I am always learning new things and improving my analytical skills. I’ve been working on several cool analytics projects that I hope to share here soon.
