About Aaron Kwan

As a Performance and Controls Engineer at Caterpillar Inc, I apply my mechanical engineering and data analytics skills to optimize the performance and ride quality of large mining trucks. I use multi-body dynamic tools to analyze and improve the structural integrity and machine performance of these complex systems. Prior to this role, I completed the Rotational Engineering Program at Caterpillar, where I gained exposure to various mechanical engineering disciplines such as simulation, FEA, test engineering, design engineering/CAD, and data analytics. I also have experience in redesigning a printed circuit board assembly line using LEAN Manufacturing techniques during my internship at Universal Avionics Systems Corporation. I am passionate about applying data-driven insights to solve engineering challenges and improve product performance. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I am learning advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques.
