About Aaron Lefton

With over 25 years of work experience in the military and energy sectors, I am a commander and manager with expertise in maximizing engagement and generating empowered leaders throughout the organization. As the Joint Task Force Commander of the Asylum Seeker Resource Support mission for the New York Army National Guard, I lead a team of over service members providing support to NYC as it provides resources, support and humanitarian aid to thousands of Asylum Seekers. I am also the Battalion Commander of the 2nd Battalion 106th Regional Training Institute, where I oversee the training and development of hundreds of future leaders and instructors. In addition, I am a Benefits Manager at Con Edison, one of the largest energy companies in the US, where I work as part of a team to design and implement employee benefit programs that promote wellness, equity, and engagement. I have multiple certifications in inclusive and emotionally intelligent leadership, and I am passionate about creating a culture of respect, collaboration, and empowerment for my team and organization. I am looking for an opportunity to leverage my skills and experience to make a positive impact.
