About Aaron Lingle

I have been lucky in my 30 years in the EMS industry to meet and treat some of the worlds most interesting people. I've gained insight and valuable experience and knowledge from all those that shared with me. In my 23 years as a paramedic, I've experienced firefighting, which was a huge adrenaline rush; ground ambulance operations,(the true bread and butter of the EMS industry in my opinion) as not only a functional paramedic but also as a manager and director; in my 8 years as a flight paramedic, I found a whole new respect for critical care and critical thinking. This also made me grow up and begin to appreciate the differences between the nursing industry and the pre-hopital. This was further appreciated when I worked in-hopital as an ER paramedic. All of us working for the commonality of making a difference (and maybe even saving a life or two) is why I chose to be an educator. Not that I'm limiting myself because I would love to go back to air medical, but I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with others.
