About Aaron Long

Currently, I am a senior at GSU majoring in marketing with an emphasis in sales and sales management. I will be graduating and obtaining my bachelors degree in business administration this upcoming May-I am working as a student assistant for GSU’s Division of Continuing and Professional Education. I have held this position for almost two years while also finishing college. This job has given me real-world experience in accounting, auditing, and general business functions. From this job and specific school courses I have become adept in the functions/features of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Adobe Acrobat. By nature I am meticulous and organized, I enjoy doing things in an effective, systematic way that makes the most sense to me. Also, I have always enjoyed problem solving, identifying the flaws then deciphering a way to reach the most optimal solution-Over this past summer, I experienced an extraordinary internship in Austin, Texas at the well-known company CrowdStrike. In addition to many useful sales skills, through this eight week opportunity I gained plenty of knowledge/experience on what it is like to be a part of a successful and growing business. I used systems and softwares like Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo SalesOS, etc. This is invaluable real-world experience that will benefit me as I go through my future professional career.
