About Aaron Marks

I'm a software engineer with 10 years experience in handling everything that project managers and product owners can throw at me. I have extensive experience working with diverse teams through every stage of the software development lifecycle from project scoping all the way to production support. When I join a team, I work to create a learning environment where team members are actively learning new things about technology and are excited to share what they have learned with their peers. This differs from a teaching environment in that the role of educator falls to everyone - even the most junior members of the team. I advocate for inclusion, diversity, and equity on my teams and within the organizations that employ me. I build relationships with my colleagues throughout the organization so that we can work together to meet our common goals in ways that are efficient, performant, and extensible. I am not currently on the market for full-time employment, however, I would be open to part-time, remote, W2 or contract developer gigs. My hourly rate is reasonable. Email: me@aaronmarks.dev
