About Aaron Miles

I love to get involved with customer problems to find a solution! Over the last year and a few months I've been studying as a Full stack Web Developer while working full time as a Network Manager. This was taught by a company called 'Code Institute' which got you through the basics of using HTML to structure the layout of the webpage, CSS for styling elements and JavaScript for interactive feedback for front end checks/logic. This escalated as I progressed through the course to start adding both SQL and non-SQL databases as well as back end logic to my applications using Python. Started with a smaller framework known as 'Flask' to then ending on the course using the 'Django' framework. I'm pleased to say that I came out with a First Class Honours! Having a creative mindset I enjoy thinking outside the box and constantly learning new skills whether it be for software development or modifying my cars to creating content for YouTube, creating music on the guitar or on my PC with a midi keyboard. For the past decade I've been working with computer systems and have got myself to a position as a Network Manager for a well respected company. I've built up a nice knowledge set for the network infrastructure side of IT and now wanting to expand what I enjoy, Software Development. Newly acquired skillset: Languages learnt: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python. Technologies/Frameworks used: Bootstrap, Minimilize, jQuery, SASS, Django, Flask, Heroku, Stripe, Travis-CI, S3 Bucket (AWS), SQLAlchemy.
