About Aaron Moeller

When I graduated as an autistic, gay, nonbinary, first-generation Hispanic student, I knew I had achieved something noteworthy. Earning my first degree was a groundbreaking victory, transforming me from a high school dropout to the first in my family to graduate. Overcoming a lifetime of barriers, including abuse and neglect, I persevered and found my voice as an educator and journalist. In my advocacy career, I give presentations about autism and neurodiversity. I publish journalistic works on being autistic in college and advocate globally for universal accommodations and a more inclusive medical field. From a young age, people told me that autism didn't exist and that it was an excuse to be lazy and not "try hard." Now, I'm helping institutions dismantle those very stigmas, and I encourage autistic and neurodivergent people to use their voices and never give up on their dreams. My main goal is to demonstrate that the stigmas imposed by society do not have to define you. My journey has reached a global audience, empowering others to challenge systemic barriers, embrace diversity, and advocate for change. I am always available to help those in need, just as those who positively impacted my life were there for me.
