About Aaron Molander

In 2005, I made the painstaking decision to help a friend install over sqft of flooring for a graduation at the University of Colorado, a decision that lead me to join the world of turf protection and special events. That same decision has brought 15 years of countless sleep deprived months, sore knees, blistered hands, thankless outstanding installs, never ending removals, and the strangest affinity for anything turf related. I’ve been around the world, trained a small army of installers with only a 5 minute speech, and perfected the sweet merger of geometry, plastic engineering, horticulture, motivational guru and endless patience. I have been a part of some great tours, seen my lion's share of beautiful stadiums, and have had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most amazing human beings. The kind who don’t brag about their car, the size of their home or the amount in their bank account, but rather how many days they’ve been out on the road, how little hours of sleep they are running on, and how fast they got the job done with the worst labor they’ve ever been handed. To Turf Managers, the flooring conversations are Terraplas, Omnideck, Matrax, Groundshieldz, EPS Pro. A conversation of ‘open back’, ‘flat back’ or ‘with feet’. To Stadium Managers it’s, event flooring, pedestrian or drivable, heavy or light duty. And to Production and Site Coordinators, it’s ‘that white crap on the field’. It’s my job to piece it all together and ensure happiness with all parties involved, providing the product you want with the personnel you deserve.
