About Aaron Monroe

At ABA, our mission is simple: to transform the place you live into the home you love. We’re a design-build remodeling firm based in Madison, and we specialize in high-quality renovations that honor the character of each home while making it work better for the people who live there. I’m passionate about quality craftsmanship and believe the small details are what makes a big difference. But more than anything, I believe relationships are what matter most—whether it’s with our clients, trade partners, industry partners, or team. The trust we build is just as important as the spaces we create. Family is a big part of my story—at home and at work. I’m proud to continue the legacy Steve Larson and my mom, Melinda, started and to lead a company where people genuinely care about each other and the work we do. And I would not be able to do everything I do without the love and support of my wonderful wife Amanda and our two sons, Sam and Liam. As a Madison native, I like to stay actively involved in my community. I serve on the board at NARI of Madison and support several local nonprofits including Sustain Dane and Clean Lakes Alliance.
