About Aaron Moore

I joined TranSystems in 2010 specializing in hydrologic and hydraulic engineering design and am currently the leader of the TranSystems Design Team in the Kansas City office. I obtained a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with an emphasis in water resources and am licensed in Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Illinois as a Professional Engineer. In addition to being a team leader for our Water Resources Team in Kansas City, I also lead the Water Resources technical community companywide. One aspect of this includes business development such as technical approach writing and cost estimation for proposals. From a design perspective, some of my experience as a hydraulic engineer includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stream instability and scour countermeasure design, storm water planning and design, hydraulic structures design, and water quality studies. Additionally, I have experience with performing hydraulic studies and scour analyses for major river crossings including the Mississippi River and Missouri River. I am also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) and have experience in preparing NPDES documents such as erosion control plans and storm water pollution prevention plans.
