About Aaron Moss

My name is Aaron Moss and I am currently a student studying Ecology for environmental studies at the University of North Texas. I have a strong interest in the pursuit of environmental conservation and renewable/sustainable energy. I am interested in these fields due to my background in taking wilderness expeditions, learning Leave No Trace principles and educating students on how to leave a smaller footprint in the natural world while exploring it. I have also taken some courses that have been applicable to this field of study and interest in these subjects. Some applicable course subjects that I’ve studied include: • Philosophy of Environmental Issues• Biology I/II• Chemistry I/II• GIS Systems• GeographyThese courses have helped shape my own personal knowledge and my perspective on how I should choose to grow as a conservationist and student of methods of sustainable and renewable energy. I would like to some day work in either or both of these fields, either helping the natural world stay healthy and managed or progressing the growth of solar, wind, and electric energy.I believe with the course work I’ve taken and will have taken upon graduation and the experience I have teaching classes in Leave No Trace (LNT) principles as a LNT Master Educator qualify me to excel in this field of study. I also have a strong passion for learning about new sustainable systems and have a strong drive to help develop, sell, or install these systems for companies and residential areas alike.
