About Aaron Navarro

As a seasoned Video and Audio Engineer, I have been supporting creative professionals in Feature Film, Broadcast Television and now Streaming for most of my career. I have worked closely with Avid editors, online editors, colorists, and Pro Tools engineers in the Los Angeles area, facilitating their creative, production and support needs for major studios and production companies including Warner, Sony, Disney, Universal, Paramount, CBS, and Fox’s Bento Box. My primary focus has been in Avid Media Composer and Avid Pro Tools tech support. In addition to Avid video and audio products, I have hands-on experience supporting DaVinci Resolve and Digital Vision’s Nucoda for online, finishing and color workflows. Most recently at Fotokem, I worked on immersive audio bay design and support, specifically Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 bays. In the past few years, I have designed, built and upgraded Margarita mix’s 5.1 Audio mix bays to 7.1.4 Atmos all utilizing Dolby RMU mastering software and Dante hardware. I also supported Fotokem’s 7.1 Mix Stage/ Screening Room that is a large format Dual S6 operator dub stage and that was MADI and Dante based. I also have a deep passion for audio systems personally as well as professionally. I have built an electronic music studio that uses analog tape, analog synthesizers and modular synths combining them with modern software such as Pro Tools, Ableton Live and MOTU Digital Performer -where I compose electronic music and scores for multi-media.
