About Aaron Nelson

Like a lot of people, my life started off with a lot of ups and downs. Imagine a train hitting an object and derailing. That was me until I was 18. But the train doesn't stop there, it keeps on going unable to stop destroying itself and everything in its path. That was me until my early thirties. Since then I have been trying to rebuild my life without foundations and without stability. Now I have accepted me. I have lived experience, I'm a care leaver, I am a family man, I am a support worker. Most of all I am me. Once upon a time all I wanted was to get rich quick and have everything that I thought I deserved because of all the problems that I had."The universe owed me." The universe doesn't owe me s*@t. Now I want to help people get their life in order and give them some meaning. To do this, you have to make sure you are in order, you have to make sure that you are not the problem in any situation. Who knows where life is going to take you? Who knows what will happen in a weeks time, a months time, a years time or 5 minutes time. The only certainty in life is that your body will stop working one day. Don't waste the precious little time you have on being negative. Be happy and make a difference. Go and see that person that you have ignored for so long. Spend more time with friends and family. Follow your dreams, your heart and don't waste to much time planning, go get it done! I would love to work with people who have been bullied, people in and just about to leave care and those without positive people in their life. Too many people are surviving life not living and it is all of our responsibilities to make sure that our communities, our countries and our planet stops leaving people behind. We must all succeed in life, or we all fail. If you have the ability, you have a responsibility. If you can, you must. If you could of, you should of. If you are thinking about it, do something about it. You don't try and open a door, you open it, or you do not. That's life, do or do not, just don't waste time thinking and talking about it, if you are not willing to do something about it. Don't be the problem, be the solution and make a difference. Life is bigger than you or I. Be a part of something bigger than you or I. Be held accountable by something bigger than you or I. Believe in something bigger than you or I.
