About Aaron Norris

Aaron is in a palliative care chaplain fellowship program at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora Colorado in 2024-25. He previously served as the half time minister at the Two River Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Carbondale, Colorado, the solo minister at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greeley and as the assistant Minister at First Universalist Church of Denver, the oldest Universalist Church in Colorado and a member church of the Unitarian Universalist Association. He holds full fellowship with the UUA. His studies were diverse and included questions about theological anthropology, the intersection of popular culture and theology, new ways of thinking about religion, homiletics and how on earth we got into this mess. His is a liberal theology: optimistic about the inherent worth and dignity of human beings, faithful to the concept of a unity beneath all our diversity and honest about the limitations of understanding the Mystery we all share called life. He considers himself lucky and blessed to minister in Colorado. He has trained as a mediator, a premarital evaluator, a ceremonial conductor, and not a bad preacher. He's open to helping out however he can.
