I am a licensed electronics engineer formerly employed as a Broadcast Network and VSAT Engineer with a 3 years of experience in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of broadcast systems and satellite communication networks. Knowledgeable in managing satellite uplink and downlink operations, configuring VSAT systems and CISCO switches, routers, servers, and other equipment used in receiving data, ensuring seamless transmission of high-quality audio and video. Proficient in setting up and troubleshooting broadcast equipment, including encoders, decoders, satellite modems, and signal monitoring systems. Strong knowledge of IP networking, and broadcast standards. Prior to becoming a broadcast engineer, I worked as a product specialist at Siccion Marketing Inc. in the special equipment division, which handles underground pipelaying equipment such as horizontal directional drills, Micro-trenching machines, ground penetrating radar, utility detectors, fiber splicers, and butt fusion machines. I gained a lot of knowledge by working with this equipment, as I was tasked with presenting, demonstrating, and training users or buyers on how to use it. Additionally, I handled both pre-sales support and after-sales services for the types of equipment we offer. My role involved close collaboration with various companies, particularly those in the telecommunications industry, government organizations, and private sectors, where our equipment was in demand.
