About me: I am an organizational leader passionate about facilitating strategic decisions and outcomes, empowering people, and delivering business improvements sustainably towards a preferred future. I believe 'business as usual' are 3 of the most expensive and lazy words in business, and leaders should not be afraid to challenge the norm and be the catalyst for change - in thinking, word, and deed. In addition to the financial and management accounting expertise expected of a CPA, I also bring wider business experience in government, corporate, and large project arenas, with a strong grounding in internal controls, contract/commercial management, and active risk management through an operational, executive, and governance lens. A high level of business and political acumen, coupled with the ability to effectively hold and translate complex and strategic discussion to all levels of an organization has given me influence as a leader and trusted adviser. I also have roles at trustee and governance level on a number of appointments, and bring a pragmatic approach to both the strategic and governance side of the role.
