About Aaron Rena

A 3D animator who's eager to help bring any and all ideas to life. With an understanding of the animation principles paired with a strong eye for camera composition and cinematography, Aaron intends to bring joy and inspiration to the world through his work. Aaron was born and raised in Edmonton, AB but currently resides in Surrey, BC. He has taken film, photography, video editing and 3D modeling classes before BCIT’s program but believes there is still more for him to learn. Aaron is a hard worker, quick learner and a reliable person who is capable of incorporating feedback and meeting tight deadlines. Aaron has always had an appreciation for good story telling; some of his favorite narratives are from games such as The Last of Us and God of War 4. He also has a deep interest in cinematography and the effects it has on narratives, but it wasn’t until watching Spider-Verse for the first time was Aaron truly inspired to pursue a job within the industry. With the animation skills he has learnt from BCIT and his previous passion in films and games, Aaron hopes to work on projects that bring inspiration to the world just as they inspired him.
