LAB IT Systems Support (MSDOS, Windows XP, Vista, Windows7, Windows8, and Windows 10 plus Mac OS 10.x). • Act as the Business point of contact to schedule vendor visits for new instruments deployments, software upgrades, instrument configurations and vendor’s GxP validation. • Windows Server 2003, Server 2008 and Server 2012 support. • Mac OS support (minimal) • Configuration Management Database (CMDB) e.g. ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Kaseya, etc. • Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN components including cables, operating system, application and utility software, various interface, storage, printers and workstations. • Implement and maintain Data Preservation policies (typical and/or custom) for IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans for quick restoration of services in case of a disaster. • Active Directory users and resources configuration. • Ensure that information technology (IT) equipment are in proper repair and working order to maintain optimal throughput. • Worked on network switches and routers/firewalls; their similar and different functions plus how to access and configure them remotely or via a physical port. • Upgrade both hardware and software to match client’s expectations. Troubleshoot and repair any known errors or conflicts. • Using TCP/IP commands to troubleshoot network connectivity and resolve conflicts within the TCP/IP stack or LAN. • Break and Fix. PCs, Notebooks, MACs and MacBook to either refresh and/or repair/upgrade to a functional unit.
