About Aaron Rios

I am a Marine Corps Veteran and a Detective member of the Crime Suppression Bureau of the Hackensack Police Department. My passion in law enforcement lies in pro-active police work, such as criminal interdiction and narcotics investigations. I I am also passionate about advancement through training and training others. I believe in building and maintaining strong community relations. I have proven organizational skills, along with highly effective communication experience. I have a genuine appreciation for diversity, and a passion for learning different languages and understanding different cultures. I believe that constantly striving to better ourselves mentally and physically is important, and allows us to have a winning mindset to continue success. Continuing to seek and advance our knowledge through advanced training and new experiences, not only allows us to improve personal and professional performances, but also sets the right example for others to strive for and continue improvement. Strong oral and written communication experience and skill, management and organizational experience, and team-building are a few of my skills among many others. My strong work ethic and attention to detail are at the core of my foundation.
