About Aaron Rogers

Aaron is partner at BD & P with a practice focused on all aspects of midstream energy and infrastructure projects including construction, connectivity, feedstock and supply, sales and marketing, and transportation & logistics. An efficient and effective counsel, Aaron understands how to get results for clients and keep projects on a path to success. He has broad experience across the oil and gas value chain and has worked as both an external and in-house counsel as well as in business development, business readiness and commercial leadership roles. Prior to joining BD & P, Aaron was heavily involved in the development of Inter Pipeline's Heartland Petrochemical Complex as the Business Integration Manager for IPL’s Business Readiness team. He was responsible for order-to-cash business process functions including leading the teams responsible for business process development and transportation & logistics as well as assisting with the implementation of material contracts, systems and tools. Before joining the Business Readiness team, Aaron was a senior legal counsel with Inter Pipeline and was responsible for the provision of legal services to each of Inter Pipeline's North American business units. He has significant experience in all aspects of pipeline transportation, NGL processing and petrochemicals as well as corporate M&A and internal reorganizations. Aaron began his career in oil and gas as an associate in the Energy and Commercial Transactions groups at BD & P. His practice focused on asset and share purchase and sale transactions, corporate reorganizations, service and procurement agreements, oil and gas freehold lease interpretation and providing advice regarding upstream joint operations. Aaron is a past President of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation and served on the CELF board of directors from 2013 to 2021. He has been involved in coaching youth baseball for over 20 years.
