About Aaron Rosen

I'm an engineer-turned-software developer who's always in search of an interesting problem to solve. My work passion is analytics - I enjoy getting into the weeds and understanding the nuance of the problem, but more than that I want to make tools that enable others to solve their own problems. At Epic I gained experience across the entire life cycle of software development. I've worked alongside stakeholders across Epic - the procedural, laboratory, interface, and patient access teams - to enable cardiologists to result their studies more accurately. I've also been involved in the development of analytics capabilities for my application, Cupid Cardiology, by developing reporting schemas and helping others leverage them to make useful reports for our end users. Prior to Epic, my industry experience at HP taught me how to integrate different projects together, develop technology to understand the state of the product as a whole, and work across teams with different skill sets to solve complex problems. I care a lot about developing skills within an organization. I have mentored co-workers at both Epic and HP and held multiple leadership positions (including president) of the public speaking group at HP's San Diego site.
