About Aaron Scott

As a Director, General Manager, Husband, Father, and Leader, I must excel at listening to every idea no matter how it sounds when I hear it first. In my experience, no matter how straightforward a solution is, I must give all ideas the same due diligence as I would have to tackle my most arduous idea. My life experiences have taught me how to apply it to my teams. I can communicate and befriend individuals in IT, Finance, military, medical, security and entertainment industries because their language is vastly different. Understanding their language limits mistakes and helps me understand when to break the ice and when not to. What I have learned is that employees and clients are different, so each situation will require a different solution. In my 11 years at JP Morgan Chase, I enjoyed managing a team of over 20 employees in different fields of finance. I learned more than I could have imagined from my mortgage, financial, and branch employees through our personal and professional meetings about our industry. By learning from these specialized individuals, I have been able to lead and teach from their wealth of knowledge and experience. Leading a team to multiple perfect audits and client success takes passion, skill and an enjoyable level of humbleness. I can never learn everything; however, being exposed to night operations at 24 Hour Fitness taught me how to review compliance in another industry and lead in a different industry. My time at The Paramount House Hotel in Sydney, Australia, helped me fine-tune my hospitality skills and gain new ideas within the compliance industry. As I have grown beyond my General Manager’s role at DPT Solutions, I have used my experience in multiple industries and time at DPT Solutions to become a Director. Being a General Manager required all the skills I learned to lead and build a team domestically and internationally.
