About Aaron Senk

I am a recent graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, having just gained my master's in Journalism, with a focus on media research. I also have received a bachelor's degree in Political Science with a focus in Environmental Studies from Kenyon College. My research work portfolio thus far consists of three major projects: a quantitative analysis of the viewing preferences of cable news network audiences in America to examine their motivations for selecting certain networks over others, a qualitative research paper on the evolution of interdisciplinary research theories and methodology in Political Science, and an analysis of the benefits and shortcomings of promoting single-use plastics regulations on a municipal, state, and federal level. I have experience, from school, work, and volunteering, in writing (creative and academic), basic programming (C++ and Java), data compilation and analysis (Qualtrics and SPSS), research, editing, online community building and outreach, reporting, radio broadcasting, and media law.
